Whether
for full degree programmes or short holiday courses, more and more
people are making Malaysia part of their educational goals and
becoming 'Educational Tourists'.
KDU College Penang is in the forefront of this new trend and has
taken the opportunity to actively promote its education tourism
programme.
Mongolian Supreme Court Judges and Staff.
The
delegation consisted of 3 senior judges namely, Mr. Ch. Ganbat,
the Justice of Chamber for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court who
was also the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of
Mongolia.

In
their 4-day Holiday English Language Course, the Mongolian Supreme
Court participants were given fun activities to learn English.
Their stay here was not confined to a classroom as they were taken
on a true Penang experience. They went on a heritage trail,
visited Chinese temples, The Peranakan Mansion and even shopped at
the famous Chowrasta Bazaar. In addition to all that, the
Mongolian Supreme Court participants met up Penang High Court
Justices and were invited to a tea reception hosted by the Penang
Bar Council.
Before
the participants left KDU College Penang to return to Mongolia,
they were entertained by the local and international students of
the Centre for English Language. The students put up three dramas
from Disney Films. There were interesting twists to all the three
plots which left the audience in fits of laughter. The Principal
of KDU College Penang, Dr. Chong Beng Keok presented the
certificates of attendance to the delegates after the drama
presentations.

One of the delegates, Mrs Dolgosuren was quoted saying, “We thank
KDU College Penang for the warm and wonderful welcome. We enjoyed
our stay here and Malaysia is indeed a beautiful country.We
appreciate the hospitality shown by the people.”
