KDU PENANG GOES CORPORATE!
Guinness Anchor & Loh Guan
Lye, Specialists Centre has engaged the Centre for English
Language (CEL) for conducting training for their staff. Basic
Communication Skills for Guinness Anchor was conducted by Ms. Khor
Wan Li and Speak Up and Be Heard! for Loh Guan Lye, Specialists
Centre was conducted by Ms. Jasamine Ooi. Both corporate training
programmes kicked off on Saturday the 25 of July 2009. Both
training programmes focus on oral and aural skills with some
grammar components included in the module Basic communication
Skills. Role plays, simulations and task based learning were used
in conducting the training making the programme lively and
engaging. The course will enable the participants to acquire good
aural and oral skills which are crucial to work environment.
