DRAMA TO WHET YOUR DRAMATIC APPETITE
A Drama presentation based on
the theme of love was successfully presented by international
students of Intensive English courses. Three plays which were
adapted and produced by the students themselves were presented on
21st of July 2009. The presentation started with an adaptation of
snow White and the Seven Dwarfs followed by Romeo and Juliet and
ends with Tarzan and Jane. It was a roaring success as the
students had a lot of fun presenting as well as being the audience
for their peers. The students acting abilities came out on full
force and the drama teacher was very proud of their independence
responsibility and teamwork displayed throughout the whole drama
process from practice to staging the play. The Drama presentation
managed to bring out confidence in the students, ability to
communicate in English and to overcome their shyness. It was a
performance worth remembering.
